What is a commission fee?

It is the fee that your bank (or internet broker) charges each time you buy or sell one or more of a company's shares. Often there is a fixed minimum amount and a percentage fee that applies after the minimum amount has been reached. Banks and internet brokers usually have different fee-classes that you can choose in order to buy as cost-effectively as possible. For smaller investments like with monthly savings, the fee-class Mini will be most cost-effective way to invest at both Nordnet and Avanza(If you have less than a total of 80,000 SEK at Nordnet, and 50,000 SEK at Avanza, stock trading of Swedish stocks is free of charge under certain terms).

Remember to set-up the correct commission fee-class before you start trading, otherwise you may end up paying too much in fees.
